I am currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a major in Graphic Design and a minor-to-be in MAGD. I am the current prayer coordinator for Cru, and I love Jesus and want to grow in my relationship with Him and others around me. I love art and animals, and I do everything I can to be able to attend Cru. I am also on the worship team and I love to sing. I have been a Christian since I was little, and my love for Christ has only grown. I have gone through a lot of changes these last few months, and I am excited for what God has planned for my life.

My vision for the prayer ministry is that people would come to understand how important prayer is as a conversation, means for expressing thankfulness, means of request, and a means of revealing sin. Reading the bible is extremely important to go along with prayer, because that is one of the main ways God speaks to us. Here are a few points to go along with my vision:

1. As a conversation: prayer is where we talk to God and He talks back in various ways. He is our Father and our friend, and you grow relationships by communicating.

2. As a means for expressing praise and thankfulness: God loves it when we thank Him, even for the hard things in our lives. Prayer is a great way to worship our Savior.

3. As a means of request: God always knows what we need and what we want, but He wants us to ask, seek, and knock anyway. He loves being asked for things; He wants to bless us.

4. As a means of revealing sin: Sometimes, we need to pray and ask God to reveal things to us. We may not want to see them, but they are important if we want to keep growing.
